SIGNIFICANCE OF 2012.....PART 4
Although there are even more references to the significance of 2012, this will be my last post about it.
So lets end with this.......
THE TIME WAVE THEORY
There is another odd pointer to the 2012 date.
American psychedelic shaman Terrance McKenna who was primarily an expert on psychedelic substances, as religious sacraments used by shamans throughout history.
McKenna took the I CHING (a 5,000 yr. old Chinese book that describes all nature and human endeavor in terms of the interaction of yin and yang) and he did a mathematical computer analysis, where he broke the book down into fractuals that produced a timeline, starting with the "big bang" and proceeding to the end of time.
Mysteriously the computer calculations simply ended
December 21, 2012.

SOME INTERESTING THINGS THAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE YEAR 2012
#1 - Experts believe that on October 18, 2012 - at 20:36 (Eastern Daylight Time), the Earth will be home to 7 billion, according to the US Census Bureau.
#2 - Some proponents of a "peak oil catastrophe" place major events in 2012. Several studies predict a peak in oil production in or around 2012. Afterwards a massive and permanent decline will occur.

Now whether you believe ancient prophecies, bible codes, mathematical predictions, computer simulations or not....you must admit that it is quite scarey that so many unrelated peoples and things all seem to come up with the same date!!!
It does give us something to think about!!!!!

SIGNIFICANCE OF 2012.....PART 3
Today we go in a slightly different direction, which amazingly leads us to the same dates.
We will begin with THE BIBLE CODE:.............
In the bible code, which comes from the first 5 books of the bible (or the Jewish Torah also known as the Pentateuch), a comet is predicted which will crumble into pieces and/or annialate the earth in 2012.
MATHEMATICS:....................And this is the one that
completely bows my mind!!!!
Technology, population, speed of travel, food & materials production, communications capabilities, computing power, the decrease in computer size, amount of information known to humanity, and a gamut of other things, are all increasing at an accelerated rate. That is, they are increasing, and the rate at which they are increasing is also increasing.
Some mathematicians plotted the asymptotic graphs of all humanity's technological developments and projected them out to the point where they all, relatively simultaneously, hit infinity.
THE DAY THESE MATHEMATICIANS ARRIVED AT IS
DECEMBER 21, 2012.
The day when everything as we know it will change... drastically!!!!
***Essentially, if we take a look at some of the really species-changing events in our history, we see 3 really MAJOR developments that changed the entire course of human history.
1) The Agricultural Revolution. (30,000 years ago we learned to farm)
2) The Industrial Revolution. (350 years ago we learned how to mass produce machines)
3) The Information Revolution.( about 50 years ago we learned how to build computers)
As you can see, the _rate_ of change is increasing, as is the ability afforded by that change.

The sun's magnetic field reverses every 11 years. The next one is due in 2012.
Earth’s magnetic field also flips, but with less regularity.
Consecutive reversals are spaced 5 thousand years to 50 million years apart.
The last reversal happened 740,000 years ago.
Some researchers think our planet is overdue for another one, but nobody knows exactly when the next reversal might occur.
So what would happen if the sun's magnetic field and the earth's magnetic field shift, flip, reverse all in the same year??
The last installment comes tomorrow!

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 2012.....PART 2
Many ancient people, from all over the world, believed the earth would one day end, and a large amount of them came to the same end date, or very close, even though these people were seperated by thousands of miles and several oceans and many had absolutely no contact with each other.
Today we start with the INCA:.................
Like the Mayan, They were also from MesoAmerica...... The Incas prophecy states that their calendar ends in 2013 and that in that year a huge asteroid (3x's larger than Jupiter) will pass close to the earth, causing cataclysms that will kill off most of mankind!
It should be noted that scientists say....
On January 31, 2012 the second largest Near Earth Object on record is expected to pass close Earth.
THE HOPI:................
Of North America..... Believe the world has been created and destroyed 4 times. They believe we are currently in the transition phase to the 5th world. The signs will be the rise of the sea’s, great earthquakes all over the globe. The sun will turn much hotter. Their tribal prophecy says the "great purification" will be over by 2011 and will be marked by the appearance of a "new star".
According to one Hopi prophecy, written very long ago, North America will be destroyed, both land and people, by atomic bombs and radioactivity.
Another prophecy predicts a pole shift (a shift or flip in the axis of the earth).
At this point we should talk about what is called......
***The "Chandler wobble" which was first discovered back in 1891.
The effect causes the Earth's poles to move in an irregular circle.
The Earth's Wobble has a 7 year cycle which produces two extremes, a small spiraling wobble circle and a large spiraling wobble circle, about 3 1/2 years apart.
The Earth in October 2005 was moving into the small spiraling circle which should have slowly unfolded during 2006 and the first few months of 2007.
But suddenly at the beginning of November 2005, the track of the location of the spin axis veered at a very sharp right angle to its circling motion.
The track of the spin axis began to slow down and by about January 8, 2006, it ceased nearly all relative motion.
THE AZTEC:..............
Also of MesoAmerica..... Their prophecy also says the earth will end in 2012 due to some cataclysmic disaster.
The sacred Aztec calendar is properly called the Eagle Bowl. The amazingly accurate calendar has been in use in various forms for more than 2,000 years.
A prophecy, based on the Eagle Bowl, states:
“After 13 Heavens of Decreasing Choice, and 9 Hells of Increasing Doom, the Tree of Life shall blossom with a fruit never before known in the creation, and that fruit shall be the New Spirit of Men.”
The 13 Heavens and 9 Hells were each 52 years long (1,144 years total).
In the mythology of the Aztecs, the first age of mankind ended with the animals devouring humans. The second age was finished by wind, the third by fire, and the fourth by water. The present fifth epoch is called Nahui-Olin (Sun of Earthquake), which began in 3113 BC and will end on December 24, 2011.
It will be the last destruction of human existence on Earth.

Of New Zealand..... Their prophecy speaks of the reunification of Rangi (the sky) & Papa ( The earth), who were seperated by their child Tane.
The prophecy says that there will come a day when the people of Tane (you & me) will be so busy, so distracted with fighting, with greed, with lust, etc.....so separated from our origins that Rangi & Papa will take that opportunity, when no one is looking, to quickly come back together, destroying everything in the process.
This is said to happen in 2012!
