Hazmat, Homeland security, the FBI, the National Guard, as well as state and local law enforcment and hell knows who else have all decended upon our lovely lil city today.
Seems that ricin powder has been found at a hotel near the strip.
Well preliminary tests say ricin anyway.
Caster beans, which is what ricin is made from, were also found in the hotel room.
The investigation is going on as I speak so will know more later.
Ricin is extremely deadly if inhaled or injected or ingested.
It is 6000 x's more deadly than cyanide.
An amount the size of the head of a pin is fatal and apparently several small viles were found in the hotel room and then taken to the front desk.
They say 4 people were rushed to the hospital due to contact with the powder but none of them are showing any signs of exposure.
Hummmm, I can't wait to see if any suspects were taken in and who those suspects are.
As I know more I will let you guys know.

Seems this was one of those extended stay hotels where you can pay for a day, week, month, etc..
The man staying in the room was rushed to the hospital Feb.14, with respiratory distress (a Ricin poisoning symtom) and he remains in the hospital now still in critical condition.
Since rent was due on his apartment, the management allowed another man, who may or may not be a family member (this is not clear at present), to gather the mans belongings, and this man found the vials of powder and turned them into the front desk clerk and from there the cops were called.
As of right now they are not saying whether or not the man in the hospital is there due to "Ricin poisoning"
But the Feds do admit that the production of the ricin was deliberate, it can NOT be produced accidentally.
Wonder if the MSM is being hush hush on this. I really haven't heard much of this news story on the TV.
